Inquiry Into Australia’s Financial Regulatory Framework and Home Ownership

On 2 October, AFIA made a submission to the Senate Economics References Committee inquiry into Australia’s financial regulatory framework and home ownership.

AFIA notes that appropriate housing is fundamental, and that housing markets should be accessible, reflect efficient allocation of capital and resources, support labour mobility and economic prosperity, and provide suitable housing through lifecycle stages and across communities.
