• Highly structured models can be efficient in times of uncertainty. But teams can get stronger through problems if they are anti-fragile, adaptable, and agile. For people to accept decisions they must have highly aligned values.

• Purpose and values drive alignment. Values should tell us what to do when we don’t know intuitively, or nobody is looking.
