Purdie Bowden

Purdie is the Lead Policy and Sustainable Finance Solutions at the Australian Sustainable Finance Institute (ASFI).
ASFI represents large Australian financial institutions working to realign the Australian financial system for a more resilient, sustainable and inclusive Australia. Purdie has extensive experience in climate and sustainable finance policy and programs. She was formerly a lead negotiator for the Australian Government in the UNFCCC, including the Paris Agreement negotiations. With recent experience designing and implementing climate finance policy and investments for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Purdie brings a strong understanding of the international, regional and domestic policy environment on climate and sustainable finance. Purdie holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hon), Bachelor of Arts, and a Master of Environment.
