Nigel Marsh

Nigel is the author of four bestselling books – ‘Fat, Forty and Fired’ ( top ten alongside Dan Brown and John Grisham),‘Overworked and Underlaid’  , ‘Fit, Fifty and Fired-Up’ and ‘Smart , Stupid and Sixty’.  Co-founder of Earth Hour (recognized as one of the most successful brand launches anywhere in the world recently), he also founded and ran The Sydney Skinny for ten years.

Alongside his writing Nigel also has a more conventional career. Since moving to Australia in 2001, after ten years at UK’s leading agency AMV.BBDO, he has been responsible for a number of iconic marketing and strategy brands such as Leo Burnett, George Patterson, The Leading Edge and The Campaign Palace. Nigel’s business commentary has appeared in The Financial Times, The Spectator and The Financial Review. His TED speech on work/life balance remains one of the most popular ever given with over 6 million views. Nigel travels widely to present his views on Leadership, Business and Life. Amongst his other roles he is a proud ambassador of the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation and host of the award winning Five of My Life podcast.
