Philip Cullum CCC Member

Philip is an experienced consumer advocate and regulator, based in Melbourne. He is principal of Consumer-wise Consulting, working on strategy, policy, engagement and governance. He is a member of the boards of Consumer Action, the Financial Basics Foundation (which he chairs), and the Clean Energy Council, and he is a former member of the Consumers’ Federation of Australia executive. He is the consumer member of the Customer Owned Banking Code Compliance Committee, and a consumer member of the AFCA Panel for banking complaints. Philip has held senior roles in several regulators including the ACCC, as well as three UK consumer organisations, and he was appointed by UK ministers to their main advisory bodies on better regulation.
