AFIA supports the Government establishing a Compensation Scheme of Last Resort (CSLR). The CSLR will allow consumers to be compensated when they have experienced misconduct but are not able to obtain compensation from a financial firm. AFIA provides recommendations critical to the efficient management of the scheme.
