AFIA supports the implementation of the DDO in Pt 7.8A of the Corporations Act 2001 (Corporations Act). The regime introduces targeted and principles-based design and distribution obligations in relation to financial products, and will require issuers and distributors to have an adequate product governance framework to ensure products are targeted at the right people.
