Climate-related financial disclosure

On 17 February 2023, AFIA made a submission to the Climate-related financial disclosure consultation paper. AFIA supports the Australian Government’s commitment to a sustainable finance strategy. We recommend that the Australian requirements be implemented in a phased, scalable and proportionate manner, which recognises the challenges entities will face to collect the necessary data and the time required to upskill and prepare.
