On 3 November 2022, ASIC announced its Enforcement Priorities for 2023, which will include enforcement action on greenwashing and predatory lending, as well as a continuing focus on scams. ASIC has also been vocal about its concerns with the Design & Distribution Obligations (DDO) compliance, with these investigations due to be completed shortly, and its concerns regarding cybersecurity risks, data breaches, and scams.

Tune in to hear AFIA CEO, Di Tate and ASIC's Senior Executive Leader – Credit & Banking, Tim Gough, answer some of the critical questions in the minds of senior executives as well as legal, risk and compliance experts across the industry.

Diane and Tim will deep dive into the regulator’s strategic priorities for 2023, engagement with members and upcoming consultations, and updates on regulatory reforms and enforcement actions. The session will also explore upcoming developments in the regulator’s use of new regulatory tools and the legal and practical implications for you, your business and the industry.
